THE TOWER
for 2 to 6 players

This is a mod for the know game Snakes & Ladders.
Custom rules and cards are used to make it more interesting.
Since this is a beta version of the game, all textures used for the board and the cards came from www.turbosquid.com.
After play testing, the game will be redesigned with fully original artwork.
Preparations
Print both file to A4 sheets and cut the cards. You will need tokes for all payers and a dice. Place all player tokens
on the first tile of the board and with the cards form a facing down deck.
Rules
At each turn first you draw a card, if you want you use a card from your hand and then you roll the dice in order to move
your token.
Duel
When 2 players are on the same tile, they duel rolling a dice each. The winner (higher roll) moves a tile forward and
the loser a tile backwards.
Cards
You may hold up to 5 cards to your hand. All cards are played at the beginning of your turn and stay on the board until
the end of the game, except the sword and the shield that can be played at any time of the game. All cards can be played only
once. No card can be played on top of another.
Torch
If your move ends on a tile with a torch, you continue to the next tile. If there is a torch on the next tile, you continue
and so on.
Guard
If your move ends on a tile with a guard, you go back one tile. If there is a guard on that tile, you continue backwards
and so on.
Rope
If your move ends on a tile with a rope, you go up one floor. If there is a rope on the tile above, you continue upwards
and so on.
Trapdoor
If your move ends on a tile with a trapdoor, you go down one floor. If there is a trapdoor on the tile below, you continue
downwards and so on.
Magic Carpet
If your move ends on a tile with a magic carpet, you roll the dice again and continue your move.
Spider Web
If your move ends on a tile with a spider web, you do not move on the next turn.
Arcane Trap
If your move ends on a tile with an arcane trap, you roll a dice.
If your roll is 6 you go to the next arcane trap if there is one
and if your roll is 1 or 2 you go to the previous arcane trap if there is one.
Sword
You may play a sword card to roll an extra dice during a duel,
or to negate the effect of a spider web.
Shield
You may play a shield card to negate the effect of a sword card during a duel,
or to negate the effect of a guard, or to minimize to 1 the roll needed to move to the previous arcane trap.
The player who reaches first the treasure is the winner.
